Silicone grease is a corrosion-inhibitor and lubricant for applications that require a thicker lubricant.

Silicone fluids are resistant to oxidation and thermal degradation. They maintain their properties over a wide temperature range, both high and low. Silicone compounds are designed as release agents and may be used for many applications including o-ring assembly, non-conductors of electricity, non-curing sealant and as assembly lubricants for rubber or plastic parts. Silicone compounds may be used for applications where they are used as both a lubricant and a sealant.
