LANDING GEAR AND STRUT FLUID

GENERAL INFORMATION:
ROYCO LGF and SSF are mineral oil based hydraulic fluids designed specifically for use in aircraft landing gear systems shock struts and other fluid dampening systems. Modern additive technology for greatly improved lubricity and extreme pressure antiwear performance is used to provide the performance levels required by today’s wide body aircraft.

APPLICATIONS:
ROYCO SSF and ROYCO LGF were specifically developed to improve “slip stiction” and to alleviate “ladder cracking” in landing gear struts due to sudden and severe shock loads encountered in these aircraft during landing. ROYCO LGF and SSF are approved for use in most current models of Boeing, Lockheed, McDonnell
Douglas, Airbus, and many other manufacturers of commercial transports.

COMPOSITION:
ROYCO LGF consists of hydraulic fluid conforming to MIL-H-5606 plus LUBRIZOL 1395 and other additives to improve landing gear performance.
ROYCO SSF is a preservative grade of hydraulic fluid conforming to MIL-PRF-6083 plus LUBRIZOL 1395 and other additives.
