601
SEMI-FLUID ALL-WEATHER, LUBRICANT
FOR AIRCRAFT ORDNANCE
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Royco 601 has been discontinued with no current replacement.
ROYCO 601 is a light tan colored silicone fluid and ester based semi-fluid
grease with a lithium stearate thickener. Additives provide oxidation and
corrosion resistance, emulsion resistance , rust protection, and anti wear
properties. ROYCO 601 is intended for use in aircraft automatic weapons
systems and accessory equipment operating in cold-sweat-cold cycling and
icing conditions at temperatures from –55 to +70 degrees Celsius.
APPLICATIONS:
ROYCO 601 is intended for use in aircraft automatic weapons systems and
accessory equipment operating in cold-sweat-cold cycling and icing
conditions at temperatures from –55 to +70 degrees Celsius. Systems
include rotary gun systems and ammunition feed systems in high performance
air superiority and ground support aircraft.

LIMITATIONS:
ROYCO 601 may soften certain paints and natural rubber elastomers due to
the synthetic base oils. The product may also cause irritation if it comes
in contact with the eyes due to the silicone component.
PACKAGING:
ROYCO 601 is available in 5 gallon pails, and 55 gallon drums.
