GENERAL INFORMATION

ROYCO 46TF is a light colored synthetic based semi-fluid grease consisting of 75% by weight ROYCO 46 and 25% polytetrafluoroethylene in a lithium stearate thickener. Additives provide oxidation and corrosion resistance
as well as rust protection and extreme pressure anti wear properties.

APPLICATIONS:
ROYCO 46 TF is intended for use in automatic weapons systems and accessory equipment operating in severe environments and conditions where thin film, low coefficient of friction, and extreme pressure lubrication are required. ROYCO 46TF is recommended for the lubrication of rotary gun systems, ammunition feed mechanisms, and other weapon systems where very high cyclic rates of fire are encountered. ROYCO 46TF is suitable
for use in temperatures from -30oF to +250oF.

ROYCO 46TF is also a suitable lubricant for miniature gearboxes where low temperature starting torques are required and in applications where it is necessary to pump a grease through extremely small orifices. Applications
include limited access hinge and flap actuators, enclosed cables, and plastic journal bearings.
