ROYCO® 315

LUBRICATING AND PRESERVATIVE OIL

GENERAL INFORMATION

ROYCO 315 is a highly refined mineral oil based lubricating oil blended with modern additives for rust and corrosion inhibition and improved water displacing characteristics. ROYCO 315 is designated rust inhibitor under MIL-STD-2073-1C.

APPLICATIONS:

ROYCO 315 was developed for the lubrication and preservation of both ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, interior surfaces and components of gear assemblies, automotive transmissions and differentials, and as a general purpose lubricant for all applications where water resistance and corrosion protection of both finished and unfinished metal surfaces is required. ROYCO 315 may be applied by spray, brush or dipping the parts or assemblies.

Most applications average 300 to 400 square feet of metal surface coverage per gallon.

APPROVALS:
ROYCO 315 meets all requirements and is qualified to Military Specification
MIL-PRF-3150D.

COMPATIBILITY:
ROYCO 315 is not recommended for the internal preservation of internal combustion engines. For these applications,
ROYCO 308 or ROYCO 581 is advised.
