Shell Gadus S2 V100 is a multipurpose grease that you can rely on to
provide good wear protection and bearing life for high-speed bearings
operating at moderate temperatures and carrying low loads. It provides
good yellow-metal and steel corrosion protection, and is widely recognised
and listed by leading equipment makers.

to provide good corrosion protection,
as it achieves a rating of 3 in synthetic-seawater bearing-corrosion tests (IP 220/ASTM D 6138) in which a rating of 0 represents no
visible corrosion and a rating of 5 indicates more than 10% corrosion.

Designed for long GREASE life
The longer your grease lasts, the longer your bearings last. Shell Gadus S2 V100 is designed to help you to operate your equipment for
longer. It gives over 100 hours of bearing life at 130°C in FAG FE9 tests (DIN 51821-2)

Designed for SYSTEM efficiency
By keeping its mechanical stability, a grease can go on working as intended in your equipment, so the machine continues performing at its
design specifications. Shell Gadus S2 V100 has good mechanical stability, as there is less than a 40-dmm change in consistency after 100,000 work strokes at 25°C (ASTM D217 test method.)

Applications
Suitable for electric motors and other auxiliary equipment such as fans, alternators and generators with bearings carrying low loads at higher speeds. Also suitable for lightly loaded roller element bearings.

Shell Gadus S2 V100 meets the requirements of a wide range of industry bodies
and equipment manufacturers. It is available in NLGI grades 1, 2 and 3. Grades 1
and 2 are suitable for centralised dispensing systems.
