Product Description:

Gadus Greases are smooth-textured, amber colored lithium soap-thickened greases. These greases are also inhibited with additives that assure long service life and provide excellent lubrication and corrosion protection. Gadus Greases are excellent as general plant and electric motor bearing lubricants. Alvania Greases RL 1 and 2 are readily pumpable in pressure grease dispensing systems. Recognizing the trend toward the use of low-noise greases in general plant and electric motor bearing applications, Alvania Greases RL are formulated with non-crystalline additives to eliminate the hard particles that can lead to noise. The greases are tested to meet low-noise bearing requirements.

Applications:
• small and large bearings used in electric motors in consumer applications where low noise properties are desired
• factory-fill where the bearing manufacturer requires a low noise grease
 
Proper grease selection depends upon many factors, including bearing size, speed, temperature, load and method of application (hand gun, centralized systems). The bearing lubrication guide shown below will assist in this selection.
